ELEMENTAL LAUNCHES CHANNEL PARTNER PROGRAM TO MEET DEMAND FOR SECURITY COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT PRODUCTS

Program Extends Nationwide Sales Network While Helping Partners Meet Growing Customer Demand for the Elemental Compliance System

ORLANDO, Fla. - April 5, 2005 - Elemental Security, Inc.T, a company pioneering new technology in the enterprise information security space with its next-generation security compliance management product, today announced it has launched its Authorized Channel Partner Program. The program extends Elemental's nationwide sales network and helps resellers meet growing customer demand for its Elemental Compliance SystemT. These innovative products address enterprises' needs to centrally manage the security compliance of all computers in their dynamic computing environments.

Elemental has already registered an initial set of select sales partners in its Authorized Channel Partner Program that are deep in security experience and enterprise relationships. The Elemental Channel Partner Program provides qualified partners with volume-based product discounts, trial unit and beta test opportunities, technical training and certification, and cooperative marketing and lead-generation programs.

"Elemental moves the paradigm for security awareness by providing a suite that allows assessment, management, and implementation of written policy," said Norm Shockley Jr., CEO at Adeara, Inc. "Their product ensures that organizational security objectives, industry requirements such as HIPAA, GLBA, and Sarbanes, and corporate policy are met, reported on, and monitored in real time. Security snapshots will become a thing of the past."

"Elemental has created a partner program that focuses on providing integration and distribution partners like Paladin Technologies with all the necessary tools, training and support we need to create success for our customers," said Thomas Gluzinski, CEO at Paladin. "This program allows Paladin and other integrators and resellers to meet the growing demand we see from our customers for solutions which provide excellent policy metrics for security administrators in a time when resources are significantly reduced. This provides the customer with rapid reaction capability to solving security policy and vulnerability issues which is instrumental in ensuring compliance."

"We are excited to kick off this program for our valued channel partners, and have been pleased with the level of interest in membership," said Elemental CEO Peter Watkins. "The response to date from reseller candidates validates our belief that the industry has been waiting for a more innovative security compliance solution delivering unified visibility and control of all machines in dynamic enterprise environments."

Elemental delivers the only product that unifies policy management, host configuration and network access control in one seamlessly integrated offering. For the first time, enterprises can easily express cross-platform security policies that affect individual computers and their behavior on the network, gather meaningful up-to-date information to compare to established metrics, and selectively enforce policies across a diverse, dynamic environment. Security compliance has become a top priority for enterprises due to pressures from increasing frequency and severity of security breaches, and from regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

This week at the InfoSec World Conference 2005 in Orlando, Fla., the company announced its formal company launch, and unveiled the Elemental Compliance System.

Elemental's products address enterprise problems such as ensuring that policies are being adhered to by all machines in dynamic computing environments; providing for a unified, up-to-date view of all systems in the network and how they are performing against internal security standards and external regulatory requirements; and enforcing access controls and quarantines on systems not meeting guidelines set up by security and IT administrators.

Elemental helps organizations realize cost and time savings by reducing their number of security incidents. It reduces the cost of network and policy administration; and reduces the cost, frequency and effort involved in internal and external audit exercises. The solution also helps organizations reduce their exposure to risks by increasing visibility and understanding of their computing environments through continuous monitoring. The Elemental Compliance System identifies and contains unauthorized machines on the network, and enforces required policies to ensure compliance.
