Security baseline compliance benchmark

Elemental Security and Security Baselines
The Elemental Security Platform (ESP) provides a compliance benchmark within minutes of installing the ESP server and ESP agents on your network. Administrators can then use this security baseline to determine which ESP policies and rules should be deployed to which computers on the network.

Security Baselines Defined
The current state of security on a network— otherwise known as the security baseline—provides a compliance benchmark that defines how an organization’s computer assets are currently configured. IT staff can then use this security baseline as a point of comparison to determine how effective new security policies are in managing threats against the network.
Security Baseline Prevalence
A security baseline should be established as soon as possible, and then should be set at as new compliance benchmarks are established. Security is never achieved; it must always be updated, as new threats arise and enterprise strategies evolve.
