Information security services systems

Elemental Security and Information Security

Implicit in the process of compiling, storing and managing data is the provision of information security. The Elemental Security Platform provides a means of defining and implementing information security services and information security systems that will protect the data that resides on or flows through a network.

Information Security Defined

A general, non-technical description of this term is that it provides the ability to get the proper information to properly authorized people at the appropriate time, while preventing access to it by unauthorized people. Information security services and information security systems should follow the “CIA triad,” in that all information should be maintained with a high degree of confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Information Security Prevalence

All information stored on a network should be protected by information security systems and information security services in order to prevent improper access or dissemination of the information.
